Inception

OECS came into inception in the year 1991 in the city of Pune. It was started with the view to offer generic counseling to students who wish to seek higher education in abroad.

The center was one of its kind in the city of Pune at that time and offered a number of services to the student community. It offered a number of services to the students/institutions and government organizations and international institutions as under:

Institutions OECS has been in the forefront of developing international education and spreading the awareness through mutual co-operation between institutions from India and Overseas. It has pioneered and developed a new role for institutional partnership.
Some of the partnership/Twinning aggrements arranged by OECS are as follows Articulation agreement between university of Adelaide and Pravara Rural College of Engineering College at Loni, Maharastra, India. Articulation agreement between university of Adelaide and Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune, India Setting up out Research Programs for University of Washington, Seattle in Singapore. Partnership agreement between university of California at Berkeley and Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune and Pravara Rural Engineering College on Summer Programs Twinning Programs between Rennes Business Programme (ESC) from France and Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune, India. Agreement between GEL and OECS.
